My Jukebox

Jukebox (Only works when logged in)

You can now create your own Playlist which will open up in a separate Pop-up window. This is the ideal way to cue up as many tracks as you like and then listen to them in the context of each other. It takes the schlep out of going back n forth and also means you can leave the player running while you navigate the site or simply to play a whole list of tracks while you are working, chilling etc. Each time you log in your playlist will be remembered. You simply need to hit the “My Jukebox� button to play them again.

SOME TIPS ON THE JUKEBOX

1. Pop-ups: If your browser blocks Pop-Ups you will need to allow this for the BPMREMIXED site. The process varies with this, but generally once you have accepted pop-ups for the site, the browser should refresh the page and then once you select the My Jukebox option the player should open. Alternatively close your browser (after enabling Pop-ups for the site) and re-open, re-log in and try again. There are too many Pop-up blocker variations for us to give you a hard and fast rule to this.
2. Browsers: IE6 and Firefox seem to work fine. IE7 seems a little temperamental as in the player seems to stop playing every now and then. We are looking into to this.
3. Removing Tracks: There are two track lists displayed. The list embedded in the flash player is for you to click on to select a song to play. The list below that(outside the flash player, but inside the pop-up window with the X next to it) is simply to remove tracks you no longer want on your playlist. Click on the X to remove said track.

FAQ's

WHERE CAN I LISTEN TO REMIXES THAT HAVE BEEN UPLOADED

1. Select the Competitions button, then select the competition (only the Goldfish comp at the moment) you will then find the compettion details, the original track to listen to, and all the remixes currently submitted beneath that.

2. Select the Search Button and all existing mixes are displayed in page no. format along with search criteria fields beneath this.

WHERE DO I FIND THE REMIX COMPETITION DETAILS

1. Under the Competitions button. The system is designed to run both competitions and also to make available other tracks for remixing all year around, hence the "Competitions" button and the "Download" button. if there are prizes and deadlines involved then the mix-pack will be found under both. if it's simply a mixpack, then this will be under "download" only.

2. Details of the prizes can be found by clicking on the peel away in the top right hand corner of the HOME page.

UPLOADING YOUR MIX

1. I've uploaded my remix, it was playing but now it's not on the site anymore.

We check and listen to all remixes submitted. If there are any obvious copyright infringements or offensive elements we will remove said remix and email you. You can query this via support@bpmremixed.co.za

2. My remix won't upload.

File size needs to be 5 mb or less and only Mp3 will do. If your's is more than 5mb we suggest a lower bitrate to start with or shorten your track. Sorry, that's our limitations.

3. My file is under 5mb's but my track still wont play after it uploaded.

Do not leave the upload screen until the screen refreshes, otherwise you will break the upload link. Try again and stay on the screen (may take a while depending on your connection and current traffic constraints.)

4. How will I know if I've won a prize?

Don't call us, we'll call you!!! Don't worry - we will endeavour to give everybody some feedback on their tracks and hopefully your peers will also chip in and comment as should you on theirs.
